Research interests - the theory of international law, private international law, international economic law, transnational corporations’ activities legal regulation.

In 2002 graduated from the Odessa National Law Academy, Faculty of Public Administration and International Legal Relations (diploma with honors). In 2006 defended Ph.D. thesis on topic “Multinational Companies` Activities Legal Regulation”.

From September 2007 until now works as an Associate Professor at the Department of International Law and International Relations, National University "Odessa Law Academy".

2008/2009 academic year being a participant of the Lane Kirkland Scholarships Program studied at Wroclaw University (Poland) and had an internship at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Poland. In October 2008 as a short-term grant recipient conducted research at the Kennan Institute (Washington DC, USA). 2009/2010 academic year as a finalist of Fulbright Faculty Development Program was a visiting scholar at Columbia Law School (New York, USA).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alexander V. Troyanovsky

Research interests - the theory of international law, the theory of private international law, contractual commitments in private international law.

In 2005 graduated with honors from the Odessa National Law Academy, the Faculty of Public Administration and International Legal Relations. Since 2005 studies private international law, including obligation relations and contractual liability in private international law. The research results were embodied in his Ph.D. thesis, titled "The Responsibility under International Contract of Commercial Agency" (defended in 2009).

Since 2007 to present – an Assistant Professor, an Associate Professor at the Department of International Law and International Relations, National University "Odessa Law Academy".

Participated in international and Ukrainian scientific conferences and seminars. 2008/2009 - Lane Kirkland Scholarship Program fellow. 2009 - an internship at the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce (Warsaw).

In 2010 graduated with honors from National University "Odessa Law Academy", Institute of Prosecution and Investigation. Since 2010 - PhD student at the National University "Odessa Law Academy". Writes a Ph.D. thesis on topic "International Legal Protection of Cultural Property during Armed Conflicts". Teaching career started in 2010 at the International Humanitarian University (Odessa).

In 2009 graduated with honors from the Odessa National Law Academy, Institute of Prosecution and Investigation. PhD student at the National University "Odessa Law Academy". His PhD thesis is devoted to a defendant’s rights and legitimate interests` protection at the international criminal courts. Since 2009 - lecturer at the International Humanitarian University (Odessa).
